Who Loves a Sale?!

        Who doesn't love to get something for a great price! I love that feeling of when you go shopping and buy something that is on a great sale. :) It's also my excuse to buy some amazingly cute clothes! Not going to lie. ;)

Kindergarten and Common Core

       Kindergarteners...aren't they just the cutest! They are constantly saying the funniest things. It's true kids really do say the cutest things. I love my job. :) Who else gets to spend their day laughing and learning?! Even though they are the cutest it can be overwhelming to think that you are teaching them what they need to know today in order to get them to where they need to be when they enter 1st grade.

Oh Common Core How I Love You

        I think it was almost two years ago already when my district decided to adopt the common core state standards. As I'm sure all of you know what that means...MORE work. It left me with a lot of questions. What is common core? How am I as a speech therapist suppose to use common core? At our district meeting we were told to now write our goals aligning them with the common core state standards.
