How to Fold a Fortune Teller

Do you remember in 3rd grade folding paper into little fortune tellers?! "Pick a number, (4) one, two, three, four"! "Pick a color, (green) G.R.E.E.N". Pick a color, (blue)...You are going to grow up to become a teacher"! It's all coming back to me now. :) Ah to be a kid again. :)

I remember playing, but forgot just how to make and fold the fortune tellers.
So I did a little google searching and this is what I learned. The first and probably most important step is to make sure the paper is cut into the shape of a square. Then fold the paper into a triangle and unfold and fold into a triangle in the other direction making creases. Next place the picture side of the paper down (if you have pictures) and fold all four corners to the center. Then turn the paper over and again fold all four corners of the paper to the center. Next fold the paper in half. Finally, stick four of your fingers into the slots to begin playing!

Here are a few pictures to help you if your a visual learner like me!

Cut the paper into a square shape.

Fold the paper into a triangle. Unfold and fold into a triangle in the other direction to make the following creases.

Turn the pictures face down. Then fold all four corners to the center.

Finished step 2 picture.

Turn the paper over.

Fold all four corners to the center.

Finished step 4.

Fold paper in half.

Stick four fingers in the holes and bring to the center.

Now you're ready to play!!
